Utilities & Services
Common questions about utilities, service providers, and what is included with your rental.
Utility arrangements vary by property. In many cases, residents set up and pay for their own utilities. In some cases, certain utilities may be included in your rent or billed back to you by the property. Your lease will specify exactly which utilities are your responsibility. If you have questions about a specific property, contact our office.
Common utility providers in the Walla Walla and College Place area:
- Electric: Columbia REA or Pacific Power (depends on location)
- Gas: Cascade Natural Gas
- Water/Sewer: Provided by the City of Walla Walla or City of College Place
- Trash: Basin Disposal Services
Contact our office at (509) 525-1040 if you need help identifying your providers.
We recommend setting up utilities in your name at least five business days before your move-in date. This ensures everything is active and ready when you arrive. Visit our move-in checklist for a complete list of steps to take before moving in.
Trash and recycling service is typically the resident's responsibility. You will need to set up service with the local provider. Check your lease for details, as some properties may include trash service in the rent. Follow your local provider's guidelines for recycling and pickup schedules.
Internet and cable are generally not included in your rent. You are free to choose any internet or cable provider that services your area. Check your lease for any property-specific details or restrictions regarding satellite dishes or exterior installations.
